JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Some iPhone users have complained about their battery draining on their devices after performing the iOS 14.6 system software update.
A number of users flooded the support forum page on Apple’s website to vent their disappointment.
This problem is experienced by users with the latest iPhone series such as iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 series.

Launch Kompas.com, Wednesday (02/06/2021) a user complained that the update affected the charging performance of the accessory Apple Smart Cover apart from a wasted battery.
“My iPhone battery drained faster to 2 percent, while Apple Smart Cover to 15 percent. Usually an iPhone battery lasts 100 percent and the cover will keep the battery up to 20 percent after 15 hours of use without recharging,” the user wrote.
The iOS 14.6 update is also reported to make the phone temperature hotter and is experienced on iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro models after accessing the Safari app.
