The summer window is already heating up with big names making moves as new managers swap clubs across Europe.
With a grueling 2020/21 campaign complete and many of the top players busy preparing for a busy summer at the European Championship, it could be a disjointed window as clubs try to improve their squads in the middle of a major tournament.
Harry Kane intends to leave Tottenham, with players like Man City, Manchester United and Chelsea interested.

That’s before we throw in a chance for Mauricio Pochettino to return to North London and convince Kane to stay, which may be unlikely.
Don’t discount a summer move for Jadon Sancho with Man Utd set to return with another bid for the England winger.
As for Cristiano Ronaldo, his future at Juventus is unclear after the Italian giants finished fourth in Serie A… and a sensational return to Old Trafford remains a weak possibility.

Saul wants Man United to move
Who else remembers the Saul Niguez saga from last summer?
Linked with Manchester United for weeks, he announced on Twitter that he was joining a new club… and then it turned out to be an affair with his brother.
Well, let’s start over, as the Mirror claims that United are back for the Atlético player, who only has one year left on his contract.
Saúl reportedly has a buyout clause of around £ 60 million, but Atlético are willing to negotiate closer to £ 40 million rather than losing the 26-year-old for free in 12 months.

Arsenal lead Sterling’s chase
Arsenal are leading the race to sign Raheem Sterling, claims The Sun.
The 26-year-old is no longer Pep Guardiola’s first choice thanks to the appearance of Phil Foden, and could also be offered to Tottenham in a bid to sign Harry Kane.
The Sun says the promise of first-team football and a return to London, where Sterling began his career, could be of interest.

Celik, who has two years left on his current contract, is valued at around 15 million euros (£ 13 million) and Arsenal, Manchester United and Spurs are monitoring his situation.

Deal done! Watford signs Imran Louza
Watford has continued to plan his return to the Premier League with the signing of Imran Louza for an undisclosed fee from FC Nantes, signing a five-year deal.
Louza scored seven goals during the 2020-21 campaign for Nantes and helped them maintain their top-flight status with an away win in their relegation play-off against Toulouse.
Able to play in a variety of positions, including off-side or as a defensive midfielder, the southpaw predominantly plays in the center of midfield.
This is Watford’s third signing since they secured an instant return to the Premier League, with young defender Mattie Pollock and forward Kwadwo Baah joining from Grimsby and Rochdale respectively last month.

Man City sends transfer warning to rivals
This is not good news for Manchester City rivals… President Khaldoon Al Mubarak says his club intends to send a message in this summer’s transfer window and has promised to find the right replacement for Sergio Agüero this summer.
Following City’s third Premier League title in four years and a first run to the Champions League final, where they lost to Chelsea, Al Mubarak believes it is important to improve their squad.
“You need to constantly bring talent to the team, refresh yourself and particularly when you are at a high level at the top,” he said, speaking in an interview with the club’s website.
“Having won the league, the team should not sit back and be happy, that is the biggest mistake. This is the time to send a strong message that there is no contentment, you are not satisfied with just winning the league.
«We lost a very important legend in Sergio Agüero, very hard shoes to fill but I am sure that we will find the right player to fill those shoes. There are other areas in the team that need investment, not too many, it’s not about numbers, it’s about quality.
“The squad is a phenomenal squad, you don’t win the Premier League and you get to the Champions League final if you don’t have a good squad. We will bring quality to the squad in a couple of key positions. “

Done deal! Ancelotti returns to Real Madrid
It’s official, Carlo Ancelotti has left Everton to return to Real Madrid.
Ancelotti, who joined Everton on a four-and-a-half-year contract in December 2019, replaces Zinedine Zidane in the Spanish capital.
The 61-year-old Italian, who previously managed Real Madrid between 2013 and 2015, guiding the club to a 10th European title, has agreed to a three-year contract.
Ancelotti told the Everton website: “I would like to thank the board of directors, the players and the Evertonians for the tremendous support they have given me during my time at the club.
“I have full respect for everyone associated with Everton and I hope they can achieve the exciting opportunities they have in front of them.
“Although I have enjoyed being at Everton, I have been presented with an unexpected opportunity that I think is the right decision for me and my family at this time.”

Sabitzer focused on euros amid Spurs links
RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer admits to having a keen interest in the Premier League but refuses to discuss a possible move until the end of Austria’s campaign at Euro 2020.

The 24-year-old, who will be his country’s captain in a friendly against England on Wednesday night, has been linked to a move away from the Bundesliga club this summer, with Tottenham reportedly interested in signing him.
However, his mind is on international affairs ahead of a Group C campaign with matches against North Macedonia, the Netherlands and Ukraine.
When asked if he would like to play for England, Sabitzer said: “I really can’t say, I’m concentrating on the task that I have here with the national team.”
“Everything that has to do with the club and the future is of zero importance to me at the moment if I want to succeed with this team at the European Championship.
“I will not give any update before the end of the Euros.”
