The likes of Erling Haaland, Virgil Van Dijk and Zlatan Ibrahimovic watching Euro 2020 from their sofas does not feel well, Does it?
Well now those three will be joined by Jesse Lingard and Sergio Ramos as both have been left out of their international teams for the main tournament.

Haaland is one of the many better players who will not be at the Euro this summer.
The European Championship has a history of showcasing some of the best international talent the continent has to offer.
This summer we will see Harry Kane, Kevin De Bruyne, Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé and more attempts to win the Henri Delaunay trophy.
But, as we have seen, not all the best players will appear this summer.
Sergio Ramos (Spain)
This is a big one. Ramos, the captain of Spain and Real Madrid, will not play in Euro 2020.
This means that for the first time in history there will be no Real players in an international team from Spain.
In fact, Brighton now has more players on the Spanish squad than the Spanish giants.
Ramos’ lack of matches due to injury was a contributing factor and Aymeric Laporte has been called up in his place. Since January 14, Ramos has played three games for Real Madrid.

Jesse Lingard (Inglaterra)
Despite having enjoyed arguably the best period of his career, Lingard failed to make the final 26-man team for England.
Lingard was excellent during his short loan spell at West Ham, scoring nine Premier League goals and garnering a great deal of applause.
Many expected him to be in the ranks of Gareth Southgate, but the 28-year-old Manchester United winger has not been selected.
He will probably be the first substitute should England sustain an injury, but not being part of the starting team will be a huge blow to him.

Erling Haaland (Norway)
Widely touted as one of the best forwards on the planet, Haaland has the best clubs from around the world salivating at the prospect of joining them.
Borussia Dortmund’s goal machine has been in good shape this season, scoring 25 goals in 27 league appearances and would surely have provided some entertainment at Euro 2020.
However, Norway was eliminated in the semi-finals of the qualifying play-off against Serbia.
But with six international goals in 10 games, the future is bright for his country and we hope to see him at the World Cup next year 2022.

Virgil Van Dijk (Netherlands)
It has been a disappointing season for Liverpool, largely due to the long-term injury of defensive anchor Van Dijk.
The 29-year-old defender suffered a serious knee injury last October and has since missed the entire season. He has not yet represented his country in a major competition.
The Netherlands will be left without their captain, and possibly the best player, heading into the Euro Cup, which is something player Frank de Boer will not be happy with.
After the Dutch failed to qualify for Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup, this seemed like the perfect time for him to have an international tournament under his belt, but sadly that will not be the case.

One of the best goalkeepers in the world not being part of Euro 2020 is a real shame.
Slovenia has not qualified for a tournament since the 2010 World Cup, and this summer is no different as the cap is lost in another competition.
The Atlético de Madrid star, who is on his way to winning LaLiga, has also been linked to a move to the Premier League.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweden)
After a remarkable comeback in the Swedish national team, Ibrahimovic will miss the European Championship this summer due to a knee injury.
The Sweden icon has represented his country 118 times, scoring 62 goals, and after a five-year hiatus, soccer fans around the world were excited for his return.
At 39, it would surely have been his last tournament, this injury will be a hard pill to swallow.

The Lazio star will miss the opportunity to show his talents this summer when Serbia was defeated on penalties against Scotland.
The midfielder, who has 22 appearances for his country, has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Chelsea for some time.
With Lazio losing Champions League football, he could travel to England this summer.

Miralem Pjanic (Bosnia)
The former Juventus player has not had the best season since moving to Spain, with some already claiming that his transfer from Turin was a false move.

The midfielder, who represented his country at the World Cup, will not head to the European Championship after Bosnia was eliminated by Northern Ireland.

Another Barça player who gets lost is Ter Stegen, another great goalkeeper.
The German will undergo knee surgery that will keep him out for several months, a blow to Joachim Low, who is a huge fan.
“For the first time in many years, I will be a fan at home supporting my country,” Ter Stegen wrote on Instagram. “I hope we win it!”
Germany is one of the favorites for the competition and, fortunately, they have Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer behind the sticks, not bad.
