CUPERTINO, iNews.id – Apple released iOS and iPadOS 14.6 last week. After updating the OS, many iPhone users complain that the operating system makes their phone battery more wasteful.
This complaint was submitted via social media and the Apple Support Community online forum and the MacRumors forum. One of the complaints submitted by iPhone 11 Pro and Apple Smart Cover users said their devices were draining battery after installing iOS 14.6.
“After yesterday’s update, it drained my phone battery to 2% and my cover reduced to 15 percent. Whereas normally the phone is 100 percent and 20 percent cover after 15 hours a day without charging,” wrote one user on an online forum, quoted from Mac Rumors, Wednesday (2/6/2021).
The user also mentioned that the battery health level has always been 100 percent for more than a year. It might be an effect of recalibrating battery health, he said.
