Hugues Fabrice Zango takes gold in the triple jump at the Montreuil meeting. The 27-year-old Burkinabe won the event on his second try with 17.67m. By beating the French Teddy Tamgho who made 17.19 m, Hugues Fabrice Zango achieved the best performance of the year in the triple jump. When you achieve such a feat, you can only be happy. “I’m satisfied with my performance, it’s a new personal outdoor record,” said the champion of Ouagadougou.
Apart from Hugues Fabrice Zango, many other athletes left traces at the Montreuil meeting. Frenchman Wilfried Happio won the 400m hurdles in 49 ”56. In the 800m, the Polish Patryk Dobek is crowned champion with 1’44 ”76. Briton Andrew Pozzi won the 110m.
