Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State would include Costa Rica in donation of vaccines against Covid-19

The Secretary of State of the United States, Antony Blinken, today promised to donate vaccines against Covid-19 to Costa Rica.

However, he did not indicate how many doses would be given to the country.

“We’re going to focus on equity, on the equitable distribution of vaccines,” Blinken said.

For his part, President Alvarado was optimistic after these statements.

“We hope to be part of the countries that receive the vaccines. We look forward to that announcement,” said the president.
