The game works and offers a throwing anchor that is a joy to use. But a tedious and unsatisfactory combat system, awkward animations and AI that will constantly tempt your patience without any resulting rewards… This game simply won’t give you the feeling of playing as a tough reward hunter and will only take the time you could spend at better games.

The versatility of movement, especially running on the wall and jumping, along with the agility of a Spider-Man equipped with firearms, is really fun, and going through a dark and brutal environment benefits greatly. However, it is certain that if the Hired Gun wants to succeed, it will have to make significant improvements. The game is chaotic and it is definitely not a game that FPS or Warhammer 40K fans will remember in the years to come.
