The 27-year-old, who was speaking as part of the Mental Health Prevention Month, admits to having suffered from anxiety for a long time because of the demands she made of herself as a “girl.” of…”. “I felt like when people looked at me they expected me to be a certain way. Because of that, I went the opposite way. I became obsessed with perfection and being beyond reproach. And that was the source of enormous pressure and anxiety, because I did not allow myself any mistakes ”, she explains.
Now a professional DJ, Corinne Foxx confides that this pressure has started to affect her mental health, and that she tries, even today, to detach herself from these behaviors and these habits that have made her life difficult. The young woman explains that she has been in therapy since the age of 14, but the cyber-harassment of which she was the target because of her father’s notoriety did not facilitate her fight against anxiety.
