Neustadt-Glewe (dpa / mv) – The Airbeat One electronic music festival in Neustadt-Glewe (Ludwigslust-Parchim district) will be held from September 8 to 12, 2021. Initially, an appointment in July was planned. The organizers announced on Tuesday that this date would come too early to create the best possible conditions for everyone. A test strategy and hygiene requirements will apply to the festival this year. For this, the organizers of the Airbeat One Festival would have coordinated with another large festival, experts and all authorities.
Accordingly, a concept was developed which enables the event to be carried out in compliance with protective measures, but with the full number of guests. The concrete measures are to be presented in a few weeks.
The line-up should remain almost identical for the date in September. Many of the acts booked for July, including Armin van Buuren, Timmy Trumpet, Steve Aoki, Charlotte de Witte, Lost Frequencies and Robin Schulz, manage to make the change on schedule, the organizers announced.
“Airbeat One” is considered to be the largest electronic music festival in the north. In 2019, around 200,000 visitors came to the grounds of the sports airport on the outskirts of Neustadt-Glewe over four days of the festival. Last year the festival was canceled due to the corona pandemic.
