Potsdam – In view of the falling number of new corona infections, the Brandenburg state government wants to resolve far-reaching easing of the corona restrictions in gastronomy, culture and sports. Brandenburg’s Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke (SPD) wants to inform about the decisions of the cabinet on Tuesday (3 p.m.).
From Thursday (June 3), restaurant visits indoors and shopping in shops without an appointment could be possible again, as Woidke had announced last week. In addition, outdoor pools are to reopen and, in addition to outdoor contact sports, sports with up to 30 participants are to be allowed in the hall. Visits to the cinema, concerts and the theater should also be possible again. From June 11th, hotels and guesthouses will also be allowed to open for private overnight stays. Thermal baths, solariums and indoor swimming pools may then be able to let in guests again.
As early as Tuesday, the daycare centers will be back to unrestricted regular operation. Fitness studios are also allowed to reopen. Most elementary schools had already fully returned to face-to-face classes on Monday. The secondary schools should follow next Monday.
