From June 1, 2021 Pension Fund Of Ukraine recalculated the payments that were assigned to working pensioners in the period up to April 2019. The right to recalculation is determined by the insurance experience acquired by the state as of March 1, 2021.
This means that pensions will be recalculated for the first quarter of the current year. This is stated in OBOZREVATEL material… The recalculation of pensions will be carried out without additional appeal of citizens to the bodies of the Pension Fund, the press service of the institution reported. Payments will be recalculated to persons who, after the appointment of a pension, continued to work and received at least 24 months of insurance experience, or less than 24 months of insurance experience, but at least two years have passed since the appointment of a pension.
The next recalculation is expected from July 1. As a result, the minimum pension will increase by UAH 85 to UAH 1,854, and the maximum pension by UAH 850. This follows from the approved the Pension Fund budget for 2021. So, according to the law, the increase will affect the majority of Ukrainians over 60 years old. So:
-
the minimum pension cannot be less than the subsistence minimum, at the same time, the increase for the length of service in excess of the norm is 1% of the minimum wage;
-
the maximum pension cannot exceed 10 living wages (the exception is valid for judges).
Previously OBOZREVATEL wrote in detail about how the pension reform from the Cabinet of Ministers will look and why the situation with the payment of pensions in Ukraine will worsen every year.
