Sonora.ID – Sufferer diabetes susceptible to wound in the legs or hands which then leads to infection and often even has to be amputated so that the infection does not spread.
This is often referred to as diabetes wet by the public or society, though diabetes wet is not a term used in medicine.
In the Kamusehat program on Radio Sonora FM, dr. Santi from Kompas Gramedia Medical Center confirmed that wound and the infection can be recognized early on.

There are 5 signs or signs of danger in wounds that diabetics should watch out for in order to get them right away treatment which is serious.
Redness
“The danger sign on the wound, which makes us have to be vigilant, it must be immediately to the doctor here, that is, the first is the redness around the wound,” explained dr. Santi.
The first sign is the appearance of a red color around the wound area.
