Senior Commissioner Petko Shotlekov was appointed director of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Pazardzhik by order of the Minister of Interior Boyko Rashkov.
The new head was presented today before the management of the directorate by the Deputy Minister of Interior Emil Ganchev. The meeting was also attended by the regional governor Ivan Vasev.
Senior Commissioner Shotlekov is a graduate of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior. After graduating in 2004, he started working at the University of Panagyurishte.
He has held a number of executive and managerial positions, and since 2014 he has been the head of the Regional Department in Panagyurishte.
For high results and professional success he has been awarded many times by the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and the Regional Directorate in Pazardzhik.
The current director, Senior Commissioner Ivaylo Tishev, has been reassigned to another senior position in the Ministry of Interior.
