After a long lockdown break, the social project “Open Piano for Refugees” will again place a freely accessible grand piano on Mozartplatz in the city of Salzburg from June 3 to 6.
From 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., amateur and professional pianists can inspire the audience with their skills. The organizers focus on the unifying effect of the music.
Play without registration, but with corona rules
Everyone is allowed to play, listen and simply enjoy the great atmosphere without prior notice, as long as everyone adheres to the existing corona measures (at least two meters away, disinfect their hands before and after playing the piano and show a negative corona test when playing would like to).
Donate for DoReMi
The donations raised during the campaign will benefit the “DoReMi” project, a social music institute in Vienna. In the seven semesters, 21 trained teachers now teach 150 students in eleven different music subjects.
