According to SÚKL spokeswoman Klára Brunclíková, this is a standard process in which the institute must check the vaccine before it can be placed on the market. “Every batch of vaccines registered in the Czech Republic that comes to the country is released by the State Institute for Drug Control. This is a process that SÚKL does several times a week, ”Brunclíková explained to Novinka, adding that the institute is able to complete the inspection in a matter of hours.

Brnabičová said that this was the fulfillment of the promise made by Vučić during his recent visit to the Czech Republic. “Vaccination is the only way the economy can continue, but from a human point of view, the greatest happiness is when you can help friends, and that is what Serbia is doing at the moment. We donated 102,910 doses of the vaccine to our friends in the area, ”Vučić advised.

The prime minister added that the country would send another 30,000 doses of vaccine from AstraZeneka.

“Serbia has always been our friend and was close to us when we were sick. Even today, it proved that we are a fraternal nation, “said the Czech ambassador. “This gift is a great gift, because we in the Czech Republic do not have enough vaccines and this help comes at the best time when many people want to go on summer vacation,” he added.
