Ciamis News, (harapanrakyat.com),- A resident of Cipaku Ciamis named Abas, is often considered to be trading monkeys by many people for keeping a pair of these animals to give birth.
Abas who is a resident of Bangshadow Village, Cipaku District, Ciamis Kabupaten District, West Java, admitted to keeping a pair of monkeys. He kept the two pets in an iron cage.
“The two monkeys that I keep are gifts from my friends. But it turns out that the pair of monkeys are matched. Because for two years I have had one child. Even now she is pregnant again,” explained Abas to HR Online, Sunday (30/05/2021).

However, continued Abas, because the first child of his pair of pet monkeys someone asked him and gave him money to replace feed. So many people consider it to be raising monkeys for sale.
Abas admitted that he had no intention of raising monkeys, let alone selling his pet monkeys.
“It’s just a coincidence that my pet monkey is a male and a female, then they have a match and finally give birth,” he said.
Abas also admitted that he was about to release his two pet monkeys into the forest. However, he was worried that his pet would come home again, and harm people. Because the two monkeys are quite fierce.
“If there is someone who wants to take care of him, then I will gladly give it. But, as long as no one wants to take good care of it, I will keep it. Even though I have to feed him every day,” said Abas. (Dji/R3/HR-Online)
