Not a nice day for HFC striker Terrence Boyd: First he and his team lost the cup qualifier against 1. FC Magdeburg (2: 3), then he was racially insulted on Instagram.
Boyd makes the news public
In the evening, the 30-year-old made a corresponding message to him public: “Negro pig”, the unknown user had written. In addition: “Dirty chemistry pig will die”, “Magdeburg simply better” and “learn to play”. Boyd, born in Bremen and the son of an American, is an avowed supporter of the “Black Lives Matter” movement and has been involved in campaigns against racism several times in the past. It is not yet known whether the racist insult to the unknown author will have consequences.
