The murder of the woman with the initials IW (31) in a hotel room in Menteng, Central Jakarta, has been revealed. The police have arrested the perpetrator of the murder with the initials AA.
The perpetrators of this murder were revealed after the police conducted an investigation and processed the crime scene (TKP). From the various clues and evidence available, the police finally caught the culprit on Jalan Cambodia, East Jakarta on Saturday (29/5/2021) early this morning.
AA was arrested by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim team and Menteng Polsek led by Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Deputy AKP Eko Barmula. AA did not fight back when he was arrested by the police.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi said that his party was still investigating AA’s statement.
“For motives and others, the explanation is still being investigated,” said Arsya when contacted detik.com, Saturday (29/5/2021).
Police are still digging up some information about the perpetrators. Today, the police will hold a press conference regarding the arrest of this perpetrator.
“Tomorrow (today-ed) we will release it,” said Arsya.
Appointment Via MiChat
The traces of the perpetrators were caught on CCTV cameras at the hotel. The perpetrator came to the hotel alone, after making an appointment with the victim via email MiChat application.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Menteng Police, AKP Paksi Eka Saputra, said that AA and IW did not know each other before.
“That was the first meeting. The initial communication was through MiChat,” said Paksi.
Paksi explained that both the victim and the perpetrator don’t have any relationship previous. However, the police are still investigating AA’s statement.
“There is no relationship whatsoever. (Promise) through MiChat,” said Paksi.
