Will this be the end of San Francisco? The Plaza located in the center of the city of Puebla is experiencing its worst moment: more than half of the premises are for rent.
Since the arrival of the pandemic, in March 2020, and more than a year after the health contingency began, various businesses within Paseo San Francisco located on Boulevard 5 de Mayo, have closed their curtains including the giant Cinemex and Sanborns, companies that attracted a large influx of customers.

Currently there are some restaurants open in the fast food area, Tarlets, Italian Coffee, La Bici de Cleta and the Smart Fit gym, however, the interior of the square looks quite lonely and quiet.
In January 2020, the Sanborns facilities were evacuated due to the health emergency caused by covid-19.
