Uruguay reached one million vaccinated with two doses against Covid-19

Likewise, the Covid-19 vaccination data monitor of the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) reports this Saturday that there are 1,746,652 people who have already received the first dose of the vaccine, which represents 49.48% of the population.

According to these data, the MSP reports that there are 78.36 vaccinated people for every 100 inhabitants.

Regarding the percentage of people vaccinated by department, Durazno is the one with the highest percentage of the population inoculated against Covid-19. Of the total population, 58,964, 59.31% received the first dose and 45.93% already received both doses. In second place is Flores, which registers 58.57% of its population vaccinated with the first dose and 30.81% with the two doses of Coronavirus Covid-19.

On this, the Undersecretary of Public Health, José Luis Satdjián, announced on his Twitter account that “Uruguay is on the way to overcome this stage and advance in the fight against the pandemic.”
