What has happened at the Ministry of Culture over the years is appalling. This was explained by the caretaker Minister Prof. Velislav Minekov in the studio of Sabudise.
“Unfortunately, I am a sad heir to what happened. A really more than strange rule, not so unexpected. I have protested against these actions for far more than ten years, “Minekov explained.
He also spoke of losses in the ministry for years. This year alone, the losses from the performing arts are BGN 20 million. The solution to this situation was “monstrous” – to stop loss-making businesses.
“With this unfortunate budget of the Ministry of Culture, this is a horrible figure. There are other losses from several companies. When I collect them, they pass 100 million “, said Prof. Minekov.
He explained that he would report on his activities in the cultural department every week at a press conference.
Prof. Minekov explained that he is optimistic about the future of Bulgaria after the early parliamentary elections.
“It will not be easy, because what we have suffered in the last 10-12 years is horrible. The consequences are like after a war, like after a plague. The treatment will continue. The agony of the former rulers – too. But we have a chance to make a normal state, “he concluded.
