They may not have finished in the top five in the Eurovision Song Contest, but Hooverphonic should not lose its popularity and appreciation among the Belgian public. The wrong place, the song with which they participated in the festival a week ago, is number 1 in the Ultratop this week. The Italian band Måneskin, who with Shut up and bunoi won the match, comes in eight places lower, at number 9. “Italy is variety rock for me”, Alex Callier said after the match. “When I think rock and roll, I think of Queens of the Stone Age. Or to genuine rock and roll bands. These guys are a made band.”

Anyone who finishes all 50 singles from the Ultratop will notice that the Eurovision Song Contest has not left many listeners untouched. After all, further down the list are several numbers from the match. In 29th place is the quirky more from the Ukrainian Go_A, the French Barbara Pravi stands with here then again at 36. Destiny and Gjon’s Tears, the Maltese and Swiss entry, round out the list. Their numbers I break on The whole universe are respectively in 48th and 50th place.
