“We agree, the signature is still pending,” explains Steg manager Andreas Andretsch. The constellation is remarkable, as the 19-year-old is the daughter of Pergs sports director Josef Trauner. And together with Andretsch, he embodies the sporting rivalry between the two clubs. “That’s why I deliberately stayed out of the talks,” says Josef Trauner. Despite all the rivalry, he is happy for his daughter: “At first I was a little flabbergasted, but I am also very proud when the reigning master asks for her.” Especially since Perg’s relegation to the second division also relaxed the relationship with Steg.
