There were repeated attacks on children playing in Munich. The police are now calling for help from the population with a call for witnesses.

Munich – It could have turned out very differently for two children from the Münchner Au. According to the police, it was only with a lot of luck that they escaped the attack of an as yet unknown perpetrator. On Sunday, May 23, at around 5.45 p.m., the two children played in front of their house on Welfenstrasse, which is marked as Spielstrasse. The house is a residential building with five floors, with balconies facing the Spielstraße.

When the children were in motion, a hitherto unknown perpetrator threw a pickle jar from a hitherto unknown apartment in the direction of the playing children. The glass shattered in the immediate vicinity of the children. According to the police, none of the children was hit or injured by accident. Is there a perfidious scam behind it? Initial investigations revealed that a similar glass was thrown by an unknown perpetrator on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. In the vicinity of the residential complex, witness interviews were carried out and a written call for witnesses was made. The commissioner’s office 26 is conducting the further investigations.
