Good news for students and employees of Radboud University who have been infected with the corona virus in the past six months: 300 of them can be vaccinated next Monday. This is possible thanks to a leftover batch of Moderna vaccines that Radboudumc has prepared for this. This is reported by De Gelderlander.

Someone who has been infected with the coronavirus in the past six months still has antibodies in his or her body. These people therefore have enough of one vaccination, and do not need a second shot of the Moderna vaccine, unlike people who have not had corona.

Radboudumc has a leftover batch of 300 Moderna vaccines ready. The first 300 employees and students of Radboud University who register with a U, S or Z number will be invited for a vaccination via e-mail. All other applications will be placed on a waiting list.
