5G network present in Indonesia with Telkomsel as the operator. The 5G network provides internet services that are much faster than 4G.
5G networks promise internet connections above 1 Gbps, which is about 10 times bigger than 4G.
Well, welcoming the 5G network in Indonesia, there are already several smartphone which already supports 5G networks. Here are some smartphones that already support 5G networks, which have been summarized.
1. Vivo X60 5G
In early April 2021, Vivo Indonesia launched the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro. Both of these flagship smartphones already support 5G networks.
Vivo X60 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, a 32MP front camera, and a 48MP + 13MP + 13MP rear camera. At launch, the Vivo X60 Pro was priced at IDR 9,999,000 and the Vivo X60 IDR 7,999,000.
2. Vivo V21 5G
Recently, on May 24, 2021, vivo has also launched the vivo V21 which supports 5G networks. Vivo V21 5G carries Dual Mode 5G which supports dual sim 5G + 5G at the same time.
In addition, equipped with a camera with Dual OIS Night Camera, the vivo V21 5G comes with Ultra Slim Matte Glass Design. At launch, this smartphone was priced at IDR 5,799,000.
3. Oppo A74 5G
In April this year, Oppo also launched its newest 5G smartphone, the Oppo A74 5G. This smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset. From the camera side, the A74 5G has a 48MP Main Camera, 8MP Wide-angle Camera, 2MP Mono Camera, and 2MP Macro Camera. At launch, this smartphone was priced at IDR 3,699,000.
4. Oppo Reno5 5G
This year Oppo has also launched the Oppo Reno5 5G. The Snapdragon 765G chipset is embedded in the “heart” of the Reno5 5G. From the power capacity, the Reno5 5G is equipped with a 4,300 mAh battery. This smartphone is priced at Rp. 6.9 million.
5. Realme X50 Pro 5G
This flagship smartphone from Realme has been launched since last August 2020. X50 Pro 5G is equipped with a Qualcomm 865 5G chipset paired with an Adreno 650 GPU. This 7nm Octa-core processor with A77 performance core can reach clock speeds of up to 2.84GHz. One unit is sold for Rp. 12 million.
6. Huawei Mate 40
In December last year, Huawei launched the Mate 40 series in Indonesia. This smartphone is equipped with the Kirin 9000 series which supports 5G. At launch, one unit of this smartphone is priced at Rp. 16 million.
7. Xiaomi Mi 10
Still in December last year, Xiaomi also officially announced the specifications and prices of its latest smartphones, namely the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro series in Indonesia. The smartphone that supports the 5G network is priced at IDR 6.9 million for the Pro series, and 5.9 million for the Mi 10T series.
