This training is intended for future physicians aware of the use of technological innovations in their practice. It can also be valued for non-doctors in the medical device industry.
Objectives and Opportunities
- To help students discover the fundamental methodological principles necessary for the development of technological innovation in health, from its design to the evaluation of the medical service associated with the innovation, including its industrialization.
- Introduce students to research issues related to this maturation process. Main applications: health modeling, signal processing (imaging in particular), development of computer-assisted medical and surgical procedures.
- Master the methodologies associated with medico-economic evaluations of CE marked medical devices, or those necessary for the introduction of these devices into current clinical practice.
