The City of Buenos Aires will open this Friday the registration to get vaccinated against the coronavirus for all porteños over 45 years old with risk conditions. From 8 in the morning the online form will be enabled to register and wait to be summoned by the health authorities. It is also authorized, in that age range, for the strategic personnel of Security, Education and Human Development and Habitat.
“The Government of Porteño advances with the 4th and 5th Stage of the Vaccination Plan against COVID-19. Starting tomorrow at 8.30 am, registration will be enabled through the GCBA website (buenosaires.gob.ar/vacunacovid) for strategic personnel and people with risk conditions between 45 and 49 years old. It remains open for residents between 50 and 59 years old with morbidity and all those contemplated in the previous instances, “they reported from the Buenos Aires Government House in a statement.
For the fourth stage, which includes the vaccination of the Security Forces, teaching and non-teaching staff, and Human Development and Habitat who are over 45 years old, online registration will only be necessary for the subgroup of the educational field. In the cases of Security and Human Development personnel, people over 45 must express their will to receive the vaccine through the website and the standards of the Ministries of Security and Human Development will be used, respectively, to verify that they are within those lists.
On the other hand, the fifth stage includes all people who have risk conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity. Among this group, those who wish to receive the vaccine must complete the application on the website as an affidavit.
Those who meet the established age and wish to be immunized this Friday must enter the web: www.buenosaires.gob.ar/coronavirus/vacunacion-covid-19/adultos-mayores and fill in all the requested fields with personal information. According to official sources, the target population for this stage are 140 thousand people.
At the end of the form loading, they will receive a notification via WhatsApp and an SMS with confirmation of registration. Subsequently, they must wait for the date and time of the assigned shift to be reported.
On the day of immunization, they should approach the chosen vaccination center with DNI. After receiving the injection, the inoculated person must remain for half an hour under observation, then they will be given a certificate and can return home.
What are the risk conditions for vaccination
● Obesity (body mass index (BMI) greater than 35 kg / m2).
● Cardiovascular disease (heart failure, coronary heart disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension).
