The outstanding Dominican singer Diomary La Mala was recognized by the New York State Congress, represented in the 72nd District by Assemblywoman Carmen De la Rosa, who highlighted the achievements of the interpreter who has had a great reception by the Dominican community.
Assemblywoman De la Rosa delivered a proclamation to the artist highlighting her values and contributions to the Dominican community.
“I want to tell you that your light shines, that we as a community admire people who strive to do a good job, who fight and sacrifice in the New York community, so knowing that your beginnings and development as an artist were In our state, today we offer you this tribute by delivering this proclamation to you, ”said Assemblywoman De la Rosa.
On his side Diomary that “I never thought that my work of so many years was going to be taken into account because what we do is rather by the grace of God, and of course sowing so that those who come behind, those who are the next generations have role models ”.
It is recalled that the first seven years of Diomary’s artistic career were in the state of New York, specifically in this city, where New Yorkers were able to enjoy the performances of the artist.
The tribute to Diomary La Mala took place within the event “Celebrating the Mothers of Upper Manhattan”, an annual event of the assembly member, coordinated by Mrs. Nurys De Oleo, in which hundreds of gifts were delivered to the mothers who gathered in the Anne Loftu Playground.
