REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KYOTO – Nintendo Switch is now four years old. According to the source who spoke to Bloomberg, there will be successors Nintendo Switch coming soon. This new device has a provisional name Nintendo Switch Pro.

This device will be launched in a few weeks, some time before the annual agenda E3 which will be held in mid -June.

The first deliveries may start around July. With chip shortages choking the industry, production may not peak until the last three months of this year.

Reporting from GSMArena, Thursday (27/5), actually, the naming “Pro” is what the press calls for the upcoming console. The real name is still being kept secret at Nintendo HQ. However, there are leaks from the console specifications.

This new model will be in-upgrade to the 7-inch Samsung OLED display, up from the 6.2-inch LCD on the current model (and 5.5-inch on the Switch Lite). Current thinking is that Nintendo will keep the resolution at 720p to help with battery life.

However, portable consoles will get chipset more powerful than Nvidia, which supports DLSS. This will allow it to upscale its output to 4K when docked.
