Find out 24.- Seven Tasmanian devils have been born in Barrington National Park, north of Sydney, after 3,000 years of their disappearance in mainland Australia.
The news comes after a total of 26 of these adult marsupials were introduced into the protected area last October, marking the long-awaited return to Australian soil.

“We had watched them from afar until it was time to step in and confirm the birth of our first wild calves. And what a moment it was! ”Commented the birth Tim Faulkner, president of the animal conservation organization Aussie Ark.
Specialists inspected the females’ bags and found the pups in “perfect health.” Additionally, additional medical check-ups are planned in the coming weeks.
