Faye Montana (17) wants to know again! The YouTuber celebrated her musical debut a few years ago. In retrospect, the song “Numbers”, which she released in 2017, was embarrassing for her. Now the web star is tackling his musical project again. With the brand new single “Rock Me Down” everything should be different. Promiflash Faye already reveals what the new song is all about!
“I’m super excited,” said 17-year-old Faye im Promiflash-Interview. With his new single, the young talent is writing a whole new chapter. “I’m starting from scratch”, she said and also reported that she had changed a lot in the four years between her first and second single. “So I’m really excited to see how people will react to this ‘new era’,” she noted.
“Numbers” was mostly about money, fame and cool moves. However, Faye is now devoting herself to other topics. “Rock Me Down” is different from her debut, as she explained: “It’s a bit about feminism or about asserting yourself against boys.” For many gentlemen of creation it is cool, according to her statements, to have several ‘side chicks’, i.e. a liaison with several girls. “There isn’t even a word for it for girls,” she noted in relation to this. Not a durable condition for the teenager: “That’s why I invented ‘Side-Boy’ to show that it can be done the other way around.”
Your new song not only conveys a message, it also invites you to dance and should be fun. Faye sounds completely different now and will probably surprise her audience. Musically she is still at home in “Urban Pop”, but is now also being inspired by other styles. The singing talent reveals: “In ‘Rock Me Down’ we also mixed in 80s elements, which I think is very cool.”
