A British model died from a “very rare” blood clot after being vaccinated against the new coronavirus infection with AstraZeneca.
Shortly before her death, 39-year-old Stephanie Dubois said that after receiving the vaccine, she was hospitalized and her condition began to deteriorate.
According to The Sun, Dubois was in Paphos, Cyprus, where she was hospitalized eight days after vaccination.
Dubois received the first dose of the vaccine on May 6. She was taken to hospital on May 14 with breathing problems, and on May 19 she fell into a coma.
For two days, her life was maintained with a ventilator, but despite the efforts of doctors, she died on Saturday afternoon.
During her life, she complained on the social network that after the vaccination her body was shaking in convulsions and her joints were “tight”. She also had a constant headache.
“Mom and Dad made me test for coronavirus. Fortunately, the result was negative. It never became clear what the problem was. Maybe that’s how I reacted to the vaccine, “she describes her condition.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) will investigate her death. The official cause of her death was a cerebral hemorrhage.
At the same time, the authorities in Cyprus, where no deaths have been reported so far after vaccination with the deceased AstraZeneca, have not confirmed that the cause of the accident was vaccination.
Although two patients had previously received blood clots after the intervention, they survived.
