Cultural weekend at the Teatro de la Paz
The Secretary of Culture of San Luis Potosí invites the public to spend a cultural weekend at the Teatro de la Paz, which continues to present virtual performances through Facebook Live.
On Friday, May 28, Fernando Sarría Abadía (Ejea de los Caballeros, Zaragoza) will perform at 12:00 h. Fernando has a degree in Philosophy and Letters, specializing in Art History, from the University of Zaragoza. He has published 18 books of poems since 2008, the latest being “In full light” (Ediciones Lastura), in 2017 “Los dias counted” (Apollinaire’s tailor), 2018 with two other poets “69 poems” (Editorial Quadrivium) .
That same Friday at 8:30 p.m., Fer Civeira and Los Malos Hábitos will perform. Fer Civeira is a musician, composer, writer and music producer. With his show he seeks to lead the public to travel through loneliness and abandonment, of love and heartbreak, of lost and found nights.
On Saturday 29 at 8:30 pm, Andrés Fargo will perform, a Mexican multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer, who in his most recent production “Eronáutica” combines different styles and musical genres. In his music the nostalgia and melancholy of Latin romantic music converge, such as Cuban son, salty and boleros, among others.
The rescheduling dates of cultural activities in person will be announced through the different spaces that the Ministry of Culture has in San Luis Potosí, such as institutional social networks, the “SLP Culture” App available for Android mobile devices such as iOS, and in information and communication media.
