The international entertainment industry, mainly the cinema, has made pop culture figures enter the world of cinema.

The next novelty in Creole cinema is “Flow Calle”, the new Caribbean Films film directed by Frank Perozo, which was shot in locations in Santo Domingo Este and in other areas of the capital. This is without a doubt the film with the most foreign and Dominican urban artists.

The film has not yet been released, but it will star Colombian rapper Farina, Puerto Rican urban singer Zion, actor Shalim Ortiz and Creole announcer Brea Frank, and they will share roles with Clarissa Molina, Caroline Aquino, Richard Douglas, Gabriel, David Maler, Colombian actor Lincoln Palomeque, and many more.

Other urban people who say they are present are the Puerto Ricans Yandel and Lenny Tavárez, and the nationals Kiko el Crazy, Musicologist, Shelow Shaq, Crazy Design, and the announcers Luinny Corporán.

“All the Dominican films that have featured urban artists have been box office, such as Colao, Qué León, Los leones, La Maravilla, Dirty money, El equipito, Pueto pa ‘mi,” added Zumaya Cordero.

Regarding the film “Flow calle”, he said that it will be released in 2022 and that they have high expectations because the story, from its script, looks towards a young audience that lives in neighborhoods anywhere in the world.

“We have artists from various musical genres … The film seeks through music and dance that the young man achieve his dreams. Starting from the story and the script, Flow Calle has great possibilities of doing good numbers when it is released ”, estimated the also producer.

He comments that internationally, “The Fast and the Furious” cannot be left behind, the actor Vin Diesel’s franchise that has used artists in the credits. “They definitely add a different audience to those in movie theaters,” concluded Zumaya Cordero.

Ozuna already made a cameo in the film “Tom and Jerry” where Nicky Jam is also starring, and he is preparing to go out in “Fast and Furious”.
