WASHINGTON – Half of the roughly 260 million adults in the United States are now fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. “This is a great success, people,” wrote US President Joe Biden on Tuesday evening (local time) on Twitter. His spokeswoman Jen Psaki also pointed out that when Biden took office on January 20, only one percent of adults had been fully vaccinated. “This is definitely a significant development,” said Psaki. The corona vaccination campaign began in the United States in mid-December.
