SOLO, KOMPAS.TV- Tomorrow, Wednesday (26/5/2021) evening, people in Indonesia can witness a natural phenomenon in the form of a total lunar eclipse (GBT).
The total lunar eclipse this time is quite special because it coincides with Vesak Day and occurs once every 195 years.
This means that this phenomenon will only occur again on May 10, 2199, May 21, 2217, and May 16, 2394.
Apart from being rare, total lunar eclipses are unique, including 29.1 percent brighter than apoge and 15.6 percent brighter than average.
Researcher from the National Space and Space Agency (Pusainsa), Emmanuel Sungging, said that GBT could be witnessed on Wednesday evening (26/5/2021).

Although it can be witnessed in almost all regions, Sungging said that the eastern region of Indonesia could witness the complete eclipse process from the start better than other regions.
