Zollikofen, May 25th, 2021 – The ICT Scouts / Campus development association is specifically looking for young IT talents, promoting and networking them. He does it so convincingly that the SVC Foundation for Entrepreneurship and the Federal University Institute for Vocational Training SFIVET have awarded him the Enterprize 2021 for it. The award was presented today at the SFIVET’s national impulse event on new skills in vocational training, which took place online under the patronage of Federal President Guy Parmelin.
The jury rated around 60 projects, three made it to the final, and now the winner has been determined: The ICT Scouts / Campus Association wins the Enterprize 2021 For outstanding innovative projects in vocational education and training and thus receives, in addition to the Enterprize trophy, prize money of 10,000 francs. In seventh grade he is specifically looking for IT talent. They can then regularly visit an ICT campus for two years and are networked with teaching companies.
Each 5,000 francs in prize money will be awarded as additional finalists Campus CFE project of the Valais Office for Vocational Education and Training as well as the Student company Hibiz of Hilti AG and the secondary school Vaduz. In Valais, vocational trainers can complete their training primarily online and individually and therefore very flexibly. At Hibiz, schoolchildren plan, produce and sell a real product such as an egg timer or a coat hook and thus learn to act entrepreneurially.

The prices were today under the national impulse event of the SFIVET. “The finalists of the Enterprize reflect exactly the qualities that advance our vocational training system with commitment and innovative spirit”, acknowledged Federal President Guy Parmelin the winners in his opening speech.
“The winning project is convincing with a concept that relies on continuous care and support for young people,” explained Michael Fahrni, President of the Jury and President of the SVC Foundation for Entrepreneurship the decision.
Adrian Wüthrich, President of the SFIVET Council, was pleased: «In vocational training and further education it is important to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, to take personal responsibility and to make a difference. The three finalists impressively show that this is possible. ”
Today more than ever, innovative ways of thinking are needed in order to be able to cope with the consequences of current developments such as globalization, digitization and, last but not least, the corona pandemic SFIVET Director Barbara Fontanellaz in her speech. “In vocational training, too, there is and must be a willingness to work on something new.”
At its NewSkills conference, the SFIVET highlighted the Challenges and opportunities with regard to the new skillswhich the professional world increasingly demands of employees. SFIVET professor Antje Barabasch showed how the learning cultures in Swiss companies are changing in order to increasingly promote social skills, creativity and personal responsibility.
Learn new things – for a lifetime
Always discovering and learning new things belongs to Gian-Luca Bona, Director of the Federal Materials Testing and Research Institute EMPA, to everyday professional life. “I am also driven by my great curiosity,” he said as the keynote speaker at the conference.
«Curiosity has to remain the magic word of vocational training, but also of all innovation and creation», gave Federal President Parmelin the participants on the way. “Switzerland will continue to occupy a top position in these areas in the future if we as a country continue to be curious, open and accessible to knowledge and know-how.”
