Pact viewers were completely in shock tonight when the blackmailer was finally revealed.
Fans of the BBC One drama were left with their mouths open as the person asking for the money wasn’t someone anyone would have guessed.
Tonight, a seemingly clean and squeaky Nancy, played by Julie Hesmondhalgh, was on display as the blackmailer.
The series focuses on a group of four women who accidentally kill their horrible boss after a prank goes awry.
They left him tied to a tree in the woods, but after returning to find him, he was dead.
They all made a pact to keep what they had done secret.

But in episode 2 they started receiving anonymous texts from a blackmailer demanding money, otherwise they would tell the police what they did.
They paid them £ 5K to keep them silent, but towards the end of tonight’s show the blackmailer demanded more money.
One of the women, Anna, managed to track the phone that sent the demanding text messages and it took her to a house she seemed to recognize.
She walked quietly into the house and you could hear someone watching TV.

Fans immediately took to Twitter to share their shock and Nancy being the blackmailer. One of them tweeted: “Bloody Hell! “ Another said: “No way !!
