The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M22 are filtered and would not allow to mount an Exynos processor

The Samsung Galaxy M22 went through Geekbench leaving an interesting fact: Samsung wouldn’t bet on an Exynos processor for this device.

Samsung is not immune to rumors, data from its high-end and mid-range terminals always leaks in the end. The latter is what happened with The Samsung Galaxy M22, this mid-range terminal has just gone through Geekbench leaving several data on the way.

One of the data this device left behind is its processor, being a Samsung terminal, the logical thing is that it mounts an Exynos chip. But that was not the case, the processor appearing on the list is the MediaTek Helio G80.

It is really strange that Samsung decides to integrate a processor from another company in its terminals, but it happens with this equipment and the answer could be a reduction in production costs or the crisis of microprocessors affects them.

The type of processor it will mount is not the only data that appeared in Geekbench, another interesting fact is that the Samsung Galaxy M22’s screen is said to be 6.4 inches and has a SuperAMOLED panel. Additionally, it is said to have a 48-megapixel main camera and 6,000 milliampere battery like its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy M21.

As for the amount of RAM, the figure thought for this terminal would be 4 GB. Those 4 GB are somewhat short in a mid-range and even more so when the competition starts to go up 6 GB and even 8 GB. The storage has not yet been defined, although it would not be strange to find versions. 64 GB and 128 GB.

At the moment, these are the only data on the future Samsung Galaxy M22, it will be necessary to wait until the day of the presentation to check if the leaks are correct. We also need to consider availability and hope this device reaches our borders so that we can test it and share our experience with you.
