Kendall Jenner took advantage of the weekend to celebrate the launch of her tequila brand, 818. Friday, May 21, 2021, the 25-year-old model was surrounded by her sisters Kim, Khloé and Kylie, as well as their mother Kris Jenner, to attend a big party organized in a restaurant in Los Angeles. All dressed to the nines, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters had invited many personalities for the occasion.

Singers Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber -accompanied by his wife Hailey- and Drake (seen two days later at the Billboard Music Awards with his son) had all responded to the invitation. Kate Hudson, who arrived with her partner Danny Fujikawa, was also there, as were the model Winnie Harlow and Jaden Smith, faithful family friend. Inside the premises, diners enjoyed a dinner accompanied by tastings of tequila. Moments that were shared on social networks, Kim Kardashian including revealing a speech by Katy Perry in which the star toast to “female entrepreneurship”.
Kendall Jenner revealed last week a first advertising video for 818, revealing itself in a traditional Mexican look. Very quickly, the top had been targeted by Internet users who denounced cultural appropriation. Other users had raised the fact that male stars before them, like George Clooney and Dwayne Johnson, had gone into the same business without knowing the slightest criticism. Kendall Jenner has not yet directly reacted to this controversy.
