NEW YORK (AP) – Like a stick, such a chip: Pink was joined by her 9-year-old daughter on stage at the Billboard Music Awards, showing off her powerful gymnastic skills as they spun through the air in a jaw-dropping performance.

Flaunting her signature aerial and acrobatic movements, the pop star was matched by Willow Sage Hart as “Cover Me In Sunshine”, the artist’s song featuring her daughter’s voice, played in the background.

The pre-recorded performance aired during Sunday’s ceremony at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, where Pink was honored with the Icon award, which she received from Jon Bon Jovi.

“Willow, you showed off,” Pink said after the performance. “I love what I do and I love the people I can do it with, and we are pretty good at what we do. But that wouldn’t matter if no one came to see us and play with us. So to all of you … thanks for coming! “

She jokingly told Jon Bon Jovi that when she was 8 years old, he broke her heart by marrying his wife, Dorothea Hurley, and that he accepted her award as an apology.
