An employee of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) was assaulted inside a subway station in Manhattan.
This incident occurred just before 3 a.m. on Sunday.
According to the police, an individual got into a verbal dispute with the employee at the 148th Street station in Harlem, belonging to line 3 of the subway.
It is known that the suspect then struck the MTA worker in the face and fled the station.
The employee was taken to St. Lukes Hospital for evaluation although it was said that he did not suffer any serious injuries.
