Operations Law Enforcement Task Force Nemangkawi catch LW, a terrorist member Armed Criminal Group (KKB) Papua Terinus Enumbi in Puncak Jaya Regency, Papua. LW was previously on the wanted list (DPO).
LW is known to be the perpetrator of the shooting of the late Lieutenant Blegur in August 2018. In addition, he was also the perpetrator of the confiscation of a firearm belonging to a TNI soldier who was carrying basic necessities at that time, in February 2020.
At the time of carrying out the action, LW was not alone but with two of his colleagues who are still being hunted by the Newangkawi Task Force.
Had to be a DPO
Head of the Nemangkawi Operation Public Relations Task Force, Kombes M. Iqbal Alqudusy, said that LW had previously been on the list of wanted people (DPO) at the Puncak Police. The DPO has been issued since March 9, 2020 regarding the criminal act of theft with the violence of a SS1 V1 long barrel gun belonging to a TNI soldier in Biak Village, Mewoluk District, Puncak Jaya Regency.
“Previously, this LW was included in the Police DPO,” said Iqbal in his written statement on Sunday (23/5/2021).
Iqbal said, LW is now charged with Article 365 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code and Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code. LW is still under investigation.
“Currently, LW is still being investigated at the Puncak Jaya Police,” said Iqbal.
