An average below fifty new cases
The region has averaged 43 new cases per day. This level of spread of the virus prevailed in mid-April, before the Eastern Townships returned to the red zone.

Vaccination record in Estrie
Estrie broke a vaccination record in the past week. More than 75,000 people have received a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This weekly report remains unmatched since the start of the vaccination campaign at the end of December.

In previous weeks, the vaccine had been given to a maximum of 40,000 people per week.
