MVP of the regular season of the Women’s League, Alexia Chartereau remained on her good momentum by scoring 15 points during the success of the French basketball players against Spain 66 to 57, Sunday in Toulouse for their first preparation match for the Euro. 2021.
The French, quadruple vice-champions of Europe (2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019), will face the Spanish, double European champions for the second time (2017 and 2019), in a friendly Monday (4:00 p.m.), still in Toulouse .

“This is the start of our preparation. We know that we did not have the perfect match but in any case we are starting off on a good basis and we know where we can improve even more”, commented Alexia Chartereau at the end of the meeting at the microphone of the channel L’Equipe.
“It’s a resumption match and it’s complicated to get started, to change the level of play. We are no longer in the French league,” said coach Valérie Garnier, asking her players to raise the level of play.
