El Telégrafo – On Facebook, fans are swindled by posing as Antonio Valencia

Antonio Valencia reported through his Instagram stories that he does not have Facebook and that there is a person who is using his name to make a draw for shirts for Manchester United, Querétaro and the Ecuadorian National Team.

The former player assured that they are posing as him to get money from the fans, since the alleged scammer asked people for money in exchange for a virtual raffle ticket that according to the publication had a charitable purpose.

Valencia is currently in the country enjoying his family after announcing his retirement from professional football due to an acute injury to his knee, which he suffered in one of the training sessions with the Mexican side of Querétaro.

The former captain of the red devils warned not to be surprised by outsiders and to always stay informed through their official Instagram and Twitter accounts.
