After Apple’s M1 processor proved to be a great success, the company continues to work to upgrade its offerings to include more and more of its own processors in its products. THE Bloomberg sources say the new Mac Pro is already being built, but also a more powerful Mac mini.
The soul of the new Mac Pro will be a 40-core Apple processor, and the machine itself promises half the size of its predecessor. There will also be a weaker release with a 20-core CPU that can be associated with a 64-core GPU. They can build a 128-core GPU into the more powerful one.
They’re even talking about a new Mac mini, which will be a big upgrade over the existing one. This can get a 10-core CPU and a 32-core or 64-core GPU, and more ports will be placed on the chassis. 64 GB of RAM is the maximum. However, this project is at an early stage and, according to well-informed sources, may even be postponed. Upgrading a larger iMac takes precedence, supposedly.
