Family members and friends of the criminal police officer André Felipe Varela, who was found dead on Friday (21), in Foz do Iguaçu, held a procession this Saturday afternoon (22), in Cascavel.
The body was brought yesterday from Foz to Cascavel, for a funeral and burial.
The procession left the central region of the city, after a wake in the central chapel of Acesc and went on to the Cristo Redentor cemetery, in the Guarujá neighborhood.
Several teams of criminal policemen, with vehicles and sirens activated, participated in the procession that traveled through several streets along the route.
A final tribute was paid on the cemetery grounds and the atmosphere was one of great consternation.
