Contact-tracing, vaccination, obtaining the certificate, access to care, Lilian Vachon, director of the Côte-d’Or health insurance fund, and Annik Amiard, president, take stock.
Friday May 21, Lilian Vachon, new director of the Côte-d’Or health insurance fund (Cpam) and Annik Amiard, president, presented to the press the major challenges of deconfinement for the weeks to come in Côte-d’Or. -D’Or and how the Health Insurance remains mobilized to control the epidemic (contact tracing) and protect the most fragile Côte-d’Oriens (vaccination, access to care).
“Contact tracing”: 130,000 Côte-d’Oriens contacted over the past 1 year
Test, alert, protect: contact tracing was set up a year ago during the first deconfinement. This system remains in force to continue to break the chains of contamination and to support people who test positive, as well as their contact cases, during their isolation.
55 health investigators from the Health Insurance take turns 7 days a week in Côte-d’Or to contact these people by phone but also by SMS and e-mail. During each contact, the isolation instructions (find them by clicking here) are systematically recalled. Global follow-up by SMS or calls is set up throughout the isolation period. Health support is also offered to people who test positive thanks to a visit from a home nurse (1,867 visits of this type have now been carried out by the liberal nurses of Côte-d’Or).
Vaccination: go to people at risk to help them make an appointment
Since April, the Health Insurance has set up a system called “Go to”, to help make appointments with people most likely to develop severe forms of Covid-19 (seniors in particular ). Concretely, the Health Insurance teams mobilized throughout the month of April to contact Côte-d’Oriens aged 75 and over, by phone, SMS and mail. 81.2% of Côte-d’Oriens aged 75 and over have now received a first injection, compared to 77.7% on the national average. More than 22,000 text messages and 15,000 letters were sent including a “wire cut” telephone number allowing them to obtain a vaccination appointment. Many appointments have been made by seniors thanks to this dedicated number.
7,500 telephone calls were made by the Health Insurance teams: seniors who wanted to or who were unable to make an appointment themselves were supported and more than 230 vaccination appointments were organized for their account.
Health Insurance is continuing its mobilization and is now extending its support to Côte-d’Oriens aged 65 to 74 who have not been vaccinated (Click here for more information). The latter are currently receiving an SMS inviting them to call the skip-the-line number to obtain a vaccination appointment. At the beginning of June, letters will be sent for unvaccinated people at the end of May.
The certified vaccination certificate: how to get it?
Since May 3, anyone vaccinated against Covid-19 has received a certified vaccination certificate in paper format, after each injection, given by the health professional who vaccinated them. This certificate includes two visible electronic seals: a Datamatrix (a kind of QR Code) authenticating the document via the 2D-DOC standard used by the French administration to certify its documents, and a QR Code allowing the user who wishes to do so. store their digitized certificate in the TousAntiCovid Carnet functionality.
This certified certificate will serve as administrative proof for certain large-scale activities (at national level initially) or for certain trips when crossing borders. People vaccinated before May 3 or who have not had the certified certificate will be able to download it from the end of May on a teleservice of the Health Insurance.
Good to know: in addition to this certified vaccination certificate, each person must also request their vaccination summary from the professional who vaccinates them. This strictly personal document is intended for the patient’s medical file, but has no value for participating in events or traveling.
91.2% of insureds * Côte-d’Oriens satisfied with Health Insurance in 2020
This is a real recognition for the 450 employees of the Health Insurance in Côte-d’Or who, in 2020, had to deal with 3 million requests from insured Côte-d’Oriens (through the ameli account, e- mail or phone call…). Despite this exceptional situation, service to the public has never been interrupted, reimbursements and payments for services have been made. 14,246 Côte-d’Oriens benefited from exceptional work stoppages to look after their child or to isolate themselves. Access to rights and care has been guaranteed, for example, through 25,000 exceptional extensions of rights, or full reimbursement of 126,000 medical teleconsultations.
Health Insurance also took advantage of this health crisis to innovate and boost its service offering. For example, a chatbot called “ameliBot” was born (it is the online assistant of the ameli account that helps you to do your online procedures) and a new telephone appointment service is available (Click here for more information) when you want to talk to a health insurance advisor without having to travel.
Supporting the most vulnerable in the face of the crisis
Some people (self-employed workers, students, temporary workers, etc.) are more exposed to the economic consequences of the health crisis, sometimes with a drop in income as a result. This is why the Health Insurance invites all people who have recently suffered a drop in income to check their right to Solidarity Supplementary Health on the site: ameli.fr/simulateur-droits. This aid makes it possible not to pay health costs (consultations, hospital, glasses, dental care, etc.) or excess fees.
Finally, the Health Insurance offers personalized support for insured persons in difficulty to take care of themselves. More than 500 Côte-d’Oriens benefited from this health support service in 2020 (Click here for more information).
